What will we do when Sims is done with his incredibly, gratifyingly irritating reviews of Seinfeld?  Its scary how much I look forward to the comment section hate for those reviews.

God bless you for posting this.

Maladroit really isn't that bad from start to finish.  American Gigolo, Keep Fishin', Dope Nose are all great Weezer songs.

Viva la doors!

I know this is a few days too late probably, but you should listen to Paul F. Tompkins' stand up act from a few years back. Specifically, a bit called "Tomboy" from the "Impersonal" album.

I agree with your point in general, but you've got to admit that at some point the sheer amount of time these people spend with camera crews around them must breed some tendency to forget they're there.  Like, if that driving instructor was with you for an entire 10 hour drive across the country you'd eventually

Yeah, for the record, I think you're absolutely right fastandsloppy.  Sorry to hear you took some shit for stating what is a perfectly reasonable position.

Gaah! Beat me by two minutes.  That is a great, great line, and Kramer's reading of it just kills me every time.

Oh, and Jerry - the suspenders?  A little hacky.

Love the Kramerica stuff.  One of my favorite episodes, and the source of two of the most quoted lines amongst my friends during college:

Jerry: He HAD cancer!!
Kramer: And laughter is the BEST medicine.

YES!  I love the slo-mo Rascal chase.  Plus, the scene where George gets wedged under Jerry's couch and determinedly beeps his horn until Jerry frees him is one of my favorite moments in the whole show.

Plus: improptu soccer games, silly-walking-in-courtyards, and standing on, then jumping off of, desks.

Yeah, I like that.  Like, the devices he invents help focus the webs, allow him to shoot "balls" of web, etc.

I don't understand why in the world you would mess around with mechanical web-shooters, or what makes that choice the "grittier," more realistic one.   Peter Parker getting the ability to cling to walls, super-human strength and jumping ability, etc. is realistic, but being able to shoot webs out of his wrists is so

Wait, I just realized that both of those sentences are actually well written, if a bit complex, informative, and interesting.  Do you mean to tell me that some of the dyspeptic a-holes who post these kinds of comments might be WRONG in their criticisms?

Hooray!  Another spirited takedown of the structural issues and/or grammatical problems with a specific sentence in an AV Club review!  It's this kind of vigilant grammatical and stylistic watchdogging that keeps me coming to these comment sections.  You, sir, are truly doing God's work.

Thanks, that link is really helpful.

Really enjoyed the pilot, despite that I know absolutely nothing about gambling or horse racing.  I apologize in advance, as I'm positive this will be perceived as a very stupid question, but: is it actually illegal for trainers or horse owners to gamble on races?  Or, on races that their horse is running in?

And listening to "Summer Breeze"!!! I also love that moment.  So, so awesome to be Wiley Wiggins right then.
