THIS is New Girl, and a great way to kick start the second half of the season. This episode is a perfect example of how good they can be at comedy, continuity, AND the development of characters who KEEP MOVING FORWARD. LOVED IT!

New Girl really excelled last year when they left that little bit of unresolved…..SOMETHING, at the end of each episode. It doesn't need to be a Nick/Jess moment (ex. sexual tension), but some kind of emotionally grounding moment that had you counting down until the next episode. This season has ended too many

Even though I HATE when people make comparisons to Friends, I'm going to do it anyway. I feel more connected to the characters on New Girl in 2 1/2 seasons, than I did in all TEN of Friends. There's such a depth to the way that these writers are bringing you into the show. You really get to know WHY these

If anything was dragging down this season, it was Schmidt. Seeing him in this episode made it so obvious that he was the missing piece to the humor aspect of the show. An overenthusiastic Schmidt is hilarious, but when he's running around being cruel and vindictive, that just wasn't funny at all.

I love EVERYTHING you said here. I really do adore Nick and Jess, but I miss their heart-to-heart talks where they were that one person that could pull the other one out of their slump when the world was holding them down. They're missing a great opportunity to dig deeper and have Nick emerge this really amazing

The appalled and disgusted Schmidt from "Parking Spot" who was pissed about the broken No Nail Oath was hilarious, but the Schmidt who was trying to actively break up two of his supposed best friends was too much. That's never going to be funny, but it's even worse when these characters are in their thirties. I

I do think they made a mistake killing Schmidt's entire character in the beginning of the season. He turned into a horrible person that you just could NOT like anymore, and it was at the same time they were doing a really excellent job developing Nick and Jess' relationship. Then they had to tie in Coach to the

TV comedies have been around for decades now. You ARE going to have the same situations, but New Girl always manages to make them fresh and relevant.

This has kind of been the running "joke" since the beginning though, especially because Winston did NOT just replace Coach. They made two separate characters, unlike what most shows would do. I love that they kind of threw it back out there and made it funny. Because heaven forbid you have two black men on one show.

How could you not mention the best line EVER, addressing all the crazy people and their misguided ideas about Winston and Coach??!?
Coach: Nick, we need to talk?
Nick: Winston stays. End of discussion.

Perfectly worded. That marriage comment would have been this cheesy, over-dramatic two-episode arc on most other sitcoms, but Nick just smiled and brushed past it. I LOVE this show the most when they slip in all the little innuendos and foreshadowing. It adds a depth to the show that most other comedies just can't

I can't believe FOX did such an awful job promoting this episode, because it was INCREDIBLE.
