I liked this a lot with two caveats:

Is it terrible? It seems like JJ keeps messing it up. She could have let him shoot Kilgrave with a gun on the first abduction attempt or blow up the house or kill him after he was drugged the second time. His execution has been fine.

Mystery shows eventually resolve their mysteries. This show just heaps artificial sounding deliberately ambiguous happenings for their own sake.

There are some promotional pics released with Wells in metahuman lockup looking sinister. I'm still betting on a dickish Wells rather than Thawne again.

Right, but I'm thinking that in this timeline, in which second Barry goes back, he'd encounter a future version of himself, one who would still have gone back to save himself. That's why Wells keeps checking the newspaper to make sure that the future Flash (who also goes back in time to stop him) is still happening.

I thought it was just kind of meh. I didn't like that everyone agreed to go along with Wells's plan, even though he has lied to and tricked them all series long. I didn't like Eddie killing himself-wouldn't that mean that none of the story ever happened?

The trailer looks terrible and is hysterically close to this SNL parody black widow trailer.
