Things I did not like about the finale and the season generally.

There's been a lot of stuff like that. Why didn't Joe have to explain how all those police got murdered by RF in the midseason finale?

yeah, maybe she needs to wait for the next fiscal year.

I don't think that Gideon is around. I also understood Gideon to have been BSing Barry during the "Trap" episode, in light of everything that happened afterwards.

I didn't say Argus would bring Eiling, I said that Argus OR Eiling might have been good solutions. It makes no sense that Argus has the authority to level a city with drones but can't get a friggin truck into Central City to take out the metahumans.

ALSO. Glad that they explained how RF got his powers back even before the tachyon thingy was stolen. It had been bugging me ever since it was fully resolved that Wells and the RF from the "Man in the Yellow Suit" episode were the same person.

Also, I am glad that they do not seem to be moving towards Eddie becoming a supervillain, which would be too drastic a change at this point in the season.

Let him steal them. Eiling isn't any worse than Lian-yu.

The whole plot was so friggin contrived. Argus, which has the authority to level a city, can't get a truck to star labs? They couldn't call Eiling, who was just there? Doesn't Eiling spend all of his time capturing and imprisoning metahumans? Wouldn't he have been a better choice?

Can anyone just wander into the Flash Superteam headquarters at Star Labs? This seems like a security issue.

Won't it? Isn't that why Wells didn't kill him in the first RF episode?

Well , Thawne told real-Wells that the particle accelerator would be built in 2020 or somesuch and that he needed to move it up. So there's clearly some ability to change the timeline.

I wondered if maybe Eddie had some genetic potential for speed-powers so he was RF's insurance policy for getting back if he killed Barry.

I think that they just don't have a clear arc thought out. They knew how Oliver grew to be the skilled fighter he is two years into the island, but not really how he became the invincible all-knowing batman clone he is when he's rescued. He now has just two years to

Also, the bit with Ras forgiving Maseo for murdering a bunch of his comrades seemed really out of character.

Man, the flashbacks have been stupid and useless this season.

I understand that- I meant a backstory in their world. It's more surprising if it's someone who we have reasons not to suspect rather than some dude that showed up fifteen years ago without any backstory.

In comics
(A) smart people can be masters of numerous disparate and individually difficult technical and scientific disciplines
(B) People can build advanced technology without engineering or manufacturing support.

" I wonder if the Thawne/Wells "exchange" will lead to the actor staying on The Flash but as a good guy. I don't really see the point of Wells otherwise, Thawne couldn't have super-haxored himself a new identity?"

Thawne's hand computer tells him that his latest fight against the Flash drained his powers-the implication being that he has had other fights. Is Barry fighting him in the future? Has he been travelling to other near future times to fight an older Barry?
