I'm allowed to dislike the culture that coddles and cultivates the people that hate vaccines, distrusts science, and generally fosters this spirit of spinning a general denial-ism rather than actually facing up to facts.

Maybe I'm a little sensitive to it today with the news that a big vaccine critic is going to be put in power over our health care, but the X-files was knee deep in making people feel like the government is not to be trusted, which can suck when some of the stuff the government is doing is trying to get everyone…

Honestly, the X-files only holds up because Mulder and Scully are compelling. The actual plot of it is rather disturbing considering that most of those conspiracy people are also the ones that think Obama is a lizard person.

We'll get plenty of entertainment about how the government is poisoning our vaccines, aliens are running the government, and sinister conspiracies are manipulating us from the people running the White House.
