I will be happy if 2017 keeps on killing things we are all tired or ethically conflictiled about. Seaworld next?

Aw. But Francis could make an exception and God could wait for the finale.

Could you imagine seeing Judge Dredd for the first time with that as your last name? Oh, I hope he did, without any notions.

I am kind of excited that we live an world interconnected enough that one of the actual Popes is likely to watch this.

I mean, how different is it than having a white man smeared with a massive amount of white makeup? That's what I don't understand.

I wonder what kind of drama these guys will have since they clearly won't have the usual 'should I kill, and if I do, should I kill for the government' kind of conflict that most of US heroes have.

Typically when Dre was asking advice, she was the only one who wasn't a bit loony

Ha, I'd already forgotten about that after seeing him punch dudes in the face in Creed.

Michael B. Jordon is certainly fit enough.

Yeah, it was certainly a nice choice for that character, since I think it would steer him away from 'amusingly hateable' to 'really hateable'.

I was shocked it wasn't the boss, tbh, because he's said pro Trump things before… I wonder if the actor begged to have his character change his mind.

The sad thing is that she wasn't even really voting for her own self interest…. what does she think that a billionaire womanizer is going to do for a single woman and her rural parents?

I'm allowed to dislike the culture that coddles and cultivates the people that hate vaccines, distrusts science, and generally fosters this spirit of spinning a general denial-ism rather than actually facing up to facts.

Maybe I'm a little sensitive to it today with the news that a big vaccine critic is going to be put in power over our health care, but the X-files was knee deep in making people feel like the government is not to be trusted, which can suck when some of the stuff the government is doing is trying to get everyone

Honestly, the X-files only holds up because Mulder and Scully are compelling. The actual plot of it is rather disturbing considering that most of those conspiracy people are also the ones that think Obama is a lizard person.

We'll get plenty of entertainment about how the government is poisoning our vaccines, aliens are running the government, and sinister conspiracies are manipulating us from the people running the White House.

I wonder if his thinking moved from "I probably won't die if I delay another year" to "Shiiit, we could *all* die next year"

On the one hand, I'm honestly surprised why anyone would eat at McDs when they're in Rome, a place with truly excellent food. But on the other, sometimes you want a soda with some ice in it.

He's governed longer than Trump ever has.

Being the enemy of my enemy doesn't necessarily make you a friend.
