There's always money in the banana stand!
There's always money in the banana stand!
"How could we not, the phone is right there"
It sounds like everyone in LA does it. Maybe they just feel safer slapping an Uber driver.
If you're doing it as a part time extra money gig, what's not to like? Even if you're full time, you still skip all those taxi regs and get right to money making.
'God Mode' has been such a common video game term for so long, it's actually the least offensive part of this.
Man, who would have thought a company that thinks a 15 minute background check is enough to let someone be a part time taxi driver would also be careless with its customer information.
Finally got around to reading Three Body Problem…. I imagine it must have been a lot cooler to go in completely blind to it, but I liked the setting and the weird physics. The sequel is not turning out as well though.
Children of Dune is at least better then DM.
Oh, I get that some people enjoy it. It's more that it is so popular that someone doing it can be so popular a talk show host can't insult him without having to apologize, and that he is able to do it as a full time job and make a lot of money doing so. Which is sad, since you could equally get criticisms for selling fossils that are then going to be outside the reach of scientists. Not that I'm anti-fossil trade in general, of course, but it's a lesser known issue that it is very hard to publish research on privately owned fossils, so sometimes extraordinary things…
