With the unstated "Because he's a Democrat, and we can't like anything they do, even when it involves Republican made plans."
Didn't he work day and night to make sure a gay man couldn't marry his dying husband?
Oh yeah, they're all awful, but isn't Ted Cruz's father a straight up Dominionist? Like, it's their state plan to infiltrate the government and army and turn the US into a Theocracy.
My concern with Trump is that he might not believe the things he says, but he's going to be stuck in a position where his supporters either demand he follow up, or try to do it themselves.
Cruz is basically the candidate from The Handmaiden's Tale.
I'd have to go listen to the exact joke, but I don't think I'd laugh at even a good Obama joke told by someone that clearly, utterly hates him.
What's hilarious is that, as much as he hates them both, he'd never endorse a Democrat.
Modern Family seemed to really suffer for having too large of a core cast. Black-ish has the four kids and two parents, but Modern family had 6 parents, and 6 children too. Plus they seemed unwilling to let anyone get too unpleasant or make any huge mistakes, which just made it repetitive.
Man, fuck Annabelle. That was the most racist fucking movie I've seen in a long time. Don't just kill off the only black character, but sacrifice her immortal soul for some white lady's kid.
And Chloe did all her own stunts too, if I recall.
I swear, the most surreal part of getting old is seeing the people just a few years younger than you get nostalgic for the kiddy shit you were to old for. *whistles 'You've got the touch'*
ts?
That's a classy move. I kind of wish they'd not even mentioned it at all… but still, at least M-P recognizes that his character can't be a complete monster.
Comic books do seem to have a way higher bar for sexual violence and violence against women, so that doesn't surprise me. I thought Kick Ass 2 the movie was gross… but good lord, I didn't realize how much worse it could have been till I saw it mentioned in a Cracked article today.
Goddamnit Trump, no one cares what you think.
Yeah, I was *that* surprised by the reveal in the comic, but he is definitely so cheerful and Standard Good Guy looking it takes you a while to realize it. Really, they need to cast someone more square jawed like Jamie Lannister to really try and sell it.
I'd love to hear from people that didn't read the comic, and know if they saw Ozy's plan coming. Cause they cast the most evil looking guy they could for that role, and that reveal is most of the impact of the plot.
Now I'm imagining the Joker and Batman standing together and crying, watching the towers fall across the bay.
Remember when Scott Pilgram got a C+? Man. It's quite a range from C+ to C-.
