Zack Synder's directorial style just looks like a soundstage to me. Every shot seems like it happens without anything else around… even Man of Steel at least some sky in it.

Yeah, you can go to far into the GRE dictionary. I also still have problems that Team Smart is also Team Evil. Have we fallen so far that the jocks are now the good guys?
I need to try that again sometime… I remember everyone was so unpleasant to the main character I just had to put it down. If you drag someone into an Otherworld, don't rag on them for getting upset.
The Kindle's monthly sale has about a half dozen Vonnegut books on sale for about 2-4 bucks each.
Thing is, they usually stop streaming that after a while. I was introduced to it after the first season, but I couldn't get access to it except through torrents. Maybe it's a TWC thing… they usually only offer the last 5 episodes, but that's useless if you want to catch up on a serialized show.
Amazon can do that too for some shows.
It might also be a good indication that it needs a different time slot or marketing system. But Networks don't even two shits about DVR numbers.
Also HBO is smart in offering its shows as a streaming option to its subscribers forever (presumably). GoT will be a value to HBO for a long time after its initial run.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that having 10 minutes of arty dream like imagery and music per episode hurt the show way more than piracy.
We're at Peak TV… if you hear something is amazing, you still may not get around to watching till it's done with its first season. And if I recall, Hannibal wasn't streaming on Amazon right away either. How else should we catch up?
I always imagined him a really grouchy Hibachi chef.
Oh yeah… man. That is quite the opening picture.
Yeah, but it seems like a personal assistant is more common, and lower paying than a live in round the clock servant. Plus then you could just put the cost to your company.
Or force him to start pressing out organic material to make the coal.
That does make Alfred seem more sinister though. "Oh yes master Bruce, why not go fight Bane tonight? And you know it's against your principals to kill him so that he doesn't come back next week."
True. I get the impression that many people had a tough time having families while being in a Dowton Abby servant.
Ah, but if he made enough of them, we'd want diamond winshields and shit.
I always got the impression that Bruce Wayne was helping the cops monetarily as well as by being Batman. Gotham is unfortunate in having super criminals that aren't really deterred by better policing.
Same with the X-men. Those with less gross and scary powers could really make a killing in the private sector. Storm would make billions helping manage the climate on farm land, and making sure it didn't rain on Kanye West's next wedding.
Be a real shame if all our diamond mines just collapse. I'm not talking economically.
