Between this and The Leftovers, Carrie Coon's got one hell of a spring this year.

How he breaks down the spelling was just ace: MIX-YEZZZZZZ-SPIT!-Lick.

    Whoa… didn't know that…

So intricately written, that one. No angst, diversions, nothing. Just pure fun.

It was foolish to expect this would top Paul Dini's Mxyzpixilated, especially when there's romantic plot tumor.

The cloak does make her look like a witch, which is a lovely touch.

While the story's still finding its legs, the dynamics between the young cast members are stronger than ever. KJ Apa's really warming up to the role, while Camila Mendes/Lili Reinhart up their game every week.

They probably blew their quota last week, with the towel scene.

When he runs, instead of lightning bolts shooting out, images of his six pick abs do.

'My name is Jennifer Gibson, but that name doesn't matter. Not anymore. It won't matter for many years. The only thing that really matters, is who you are. Geraldine Grundy.

I imagined this elaborate backstory that Not!Grundy was from the future, & killed the real one and took on her youthful appearance (because CW). Much like Eobard Thawne & Harrison Wells.

Randy Orton's been hit twice with it, and sold beautifully.

With Linda, Austin deliberately played it safe, since she's not like the rest of them.

Adam Kaufman! May've been, but they never confirmed it onscreen.

Oh yeah. He's got 'lead allergies', as Lilian called it.

Monnikins tries to intervene, but can't decide whose side he's on. Causing yet another wedge between him and Kara. Though that'll be resolved by the end of the episode, too. Rinse & Repeat.

She angrily tells James that Winn meant a lot to her… and he (ever so keen to win any dick measurement contest) fires back saying Winn meant much more to him!

And think of the manpain potential for James, should this happen.

Knowing this show, there'll probably have an AU version of the character, anyway.

I'm afraid Winn's dead by the end of this season. There's not a lot left for him, plot wise (unfortunately). Especially after they get to show off Jeremy Jordan's singing chops in the musical crossover with The Flash.
