This has been my favorite episode so far. So much movement on many fronts. & easily Evan's best performance yet.

Merging AOL & Time Warner killed WCW. Does The Man in Black assume this would have better results?
Surprised they revealed Eleanor's duplicity this quick, but then remembered that the season's only 13 episodes long. I think it is by default, & there's no back half.
YES. What happened at the barn (present day), is likely a case of history repeating itself, with Dolores having gone against her programming before.
They may've thrown us off a bit with the two timelines aspect with the closing scene, but I doubt it.
And he probably killed Wes's dad, too.
The dead body's probably Frank. Could turn out to be a Byronic arc for the character: viewed as a bad guy (for his malicious actions in the past), but ultimately turns out to be trustworthy. Just when everyone realizes it, BOOM.
So Jack Bauer fired the Russian agent who took him into custody at the end of LAD. Even if his story is never resolved, we atleast have this going.
Could be, but I think pushing it even further, can help explain certain advancements the show might want to explore, in a more realistic light. If that makes sense.
Goodie for you…
We'll find out soon enough.
Yeah. In the future generations, music from Radiohead & Rolling Stones would probably be revered like how Sinatra was/is back in the day, and in present.
I don't think setting matters here, but who knows? Maybe it will have some relevance into the plot, later on.
Right. My guess is that the guests are probably the last generation to come from the 21st century, in-universe.
Probably does not, but I couldn't help trying to guess.
It's pretty late here. Phrasing may've been a bit off.
Nolan may've tipped his hand on the show's timeline in one of the new featurettes. His exact words were 'hosts are not aware that they are here for the amusement of the 21st century guests'.
They said 'She's been repaired so many times, she's practically brand-new.'
Not her. The host who's assigned to play her dad, was in that role for 10 years. He was the sheriff before that, as well as a cannibal cultist.
If William is the MiB, these flashbacks occurred 30 years ago, cause that's when he first visited the park.
