According to a crew guy on Reddit, one of the reasons behind the move, is cause the filming incentives provided by Austin is at an end.

Just one show. But 2 of 'em go. Upon talking this over with a few friends, we think it's Empire.
And per After Ellen, there's gonna be 2 more next week.
Finished the first, & this is a bit hard, but intriguing nonetheless. And yes, the cinematography's really good. The show feels like The Leftovers, with that very independent film look. Think it can fill the void (if it's on for years), after the latter wraps their final season.
Think even Legends have it the same way (set-wise) with Flash/Arrow.
That sounds accurate. Which is why it's better if they split the roster again after Mania, per the outcome of Shane-Taker. Make SD relevant again.
Not to mention the dorkiness between Barry & Winn. The actors really seemed to enjoy this.
Could be, as CW is jointly owned by CBS Studios & Warner Bros.
They CAN, however, afford to film in Los Angeles, I think (like they do with Jane the Virgin, or Crazy Ex-Girlfriend).
And they can't exactly afford Calista Flockhart either, can they?
Thanks. I've already started it up.
True, but what about the rest of the stuff? J'onn, Cat, & all? Those also require exploration.
Big time. Almost started tearing up when that cue from the Solar Flare on Red Tornado started playing, when she regained the city's trust again.
I tend to not to think about it much.
Shane's still got it (though that elbow didn't connect as much as he wanted it to).
'You mess with one of us, YOU MESS WITH ALL OF US!' :)
I actually considered Winn going evil when writing this, but would've been a bit much.
For Flash, I've just seen the pilot, & the Mark Hamill stuff in Season 1. All good, but couldn't catch up due to time. Maybe do so later.
Either them, or Bruce Timm & Paul Dini. THOSE guys know how to do it.
What the show lacks due to on-the-nose dialogue & damned romantic plot tumor, they more than make up for with optimism, charm, & graceful characters (Kara, Alex, Cat, Goddamn J'onn). There's room for improvement in the former (this episode had better lines than most, IMO).
