No. The show competed as a comedy. It's on the official ballots. It won the Emmy for best Comedy Editing.
That's right. I guess it would have been mentioned in the review.
Did this episode also reveal the thing Selina did that no one but Gary knows? Y'know, when they had that big fight from last season. Was Selina going to a mental hospital that big secret?
You lost me at "American Crime." Great show that won Regina King an Emmy so…
Well…DiabetesMan didn't technically say Regina King "stood out." He just said that Regina King is a great actress. I'm not sure what point your trying to make. She is a great actress, with or without Carrie Coon (who is also great in her own way).
You lost me at the 30 Rock comparison (I don't get your meaning of "satisfies")
I seriously thought you made "BrainDead" up.
Wait a minute wait a minute. This isn't Archie's last episode. She confirmed on twitter on April 9th that she had four more episodes. I think shes going to be in the last 2. That scene between the 2 actors is still possible.
I agree. I'm not saying this second half of season 6 has been great…but I don't understand how this episode qualifies for a "C." I haven't been more frustrated with episode grades since Nathan Rabin's reviews of 30 Rock, season 6.
I'm starting to believe that there is some drama between Archie Panjabi and Margulies. But I don't think she has any beef with the other actors (at least it's not made apparent on the show)
I don't need your approval but thank you.
I am so glad this got a high grade here. Polarizing reaction from fans. This is one of the reasons TGW doesn't get the same ratings as its crime procedural siblings. It actually has these cool, gutsy, stand-alone, reflective episodes (Decision Tree, Last Call sorta). It's all subjective, but I'm surprised that so many…
I'm assuming you're talking about Emmy nominations? Penny Dreadful, Leftovers, Outlander, and The Knick have not been eligible for any Emmys yet so I don't know why those were mentioned. Game of Thrones literally has 5 times more Emmy recognition than Scandal so…again, I don't get this. And Fargo (which competed in…
In real life, he would not use the word "banging."
