“That’s a team that could win 7 games, easy.”

Can confirm. People immersed in PE are easily the worst people I’ve ever been involved with, and I comment on the internet.

I have frequently sung along to rap songs. I still manage to skip saying that word.

I basically lost 80% of faith in old white people when Don Imus saying “nappy headed ho’s” turned into “rappers should stop saying the n-word”.

“This is a teachable moment,” Sung told the Times-Dispatch. “It’s not something that we’re proud of. The team is very apologetic and sorry. There’s nobody of any color that should say it. Period. There’s nobody that should say it.”

Hating on black people is always a “teachable moment.” shooting black people is a “teachable moment.” Putting innocent black people in jail is a “teachable moment.” When will there be a teachable moment about respecting people of color? Or treating us equally?

“You had trouble with Holm’s fighting style, was it alien to you?”
“Was it alien? What am I some kind of martian from another planet? Is that what you’re saying?”
“No, I just-”

That is seriously is the worst wording of a line of questioning I have ever seen. Even worse than the wording of my prior sentence that I won’t go back and correct.

Holly Holm once knocked her into next week and she certainly doesn’t want to experience that again.

Hell yes - I finally dumped The Walking Dead two seasons ago when I realized I hadn’t been enjoying it for a long time, but I was kind of taken aback by how much it felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders.

I feel like this is a good sentiment but you give terrible examples.

counterpoint: the Rams and the Jags were two of the most surprising teams in the league last year, and they both leaned heavily on RBs they drafted in the top five. And let’s not forget about the Cowboys. Their RB, drafted in the top-five, is the difference between championship contention (when he plays) and

Oh Jesus. I’m not sure what’s worse. The fact that I did not even consider the Jets being stupid enough to do this? Or that the Jets would totally be stupid enough to do this.

Only one quibble w your logic: drafting an RB in the top 6 is a bad idea unless he is literally The Flash or made of electric eelflesh. RBs just don’t last anymore (says the guy whose team traded the whole farm for Trent Richardson because the execs wanted a re-do of Eric Dickerson).

I mean, I get the sentiment, but the team that JUST won the Super Bowl traded up to draft a QB who ended up as their franchise guy and put up MVP-type numbers before getting hurt.

This. Trade all of your 2nd round picks away in perpetuity, Jets GM

I don’t know anyone who hated Fallon for breaking.

That’s valid too

I just hate Fallon because he’s unfunny and smug, but to each their own.

depends if you’re famous or not.
