I am legit mildly surprise by how the city has handled this thus far. Expected way more resistance from the city government. I never know what to say to people whose parents didn’t accept them. It’s something that, as a mother myself, I just don’t understand. Everybody deserves to have parents that love them unconditionally, and it’s a damn shame that not everybody gets that.
