Yup. Runs like a top. A top that needs constant replacement parts like turbochargers. I never started it with the gasoline so it never even made it into the fuel lines.

Are they severely under-rated in MPG? Like the 2000-ish Golf TDI that was rated at 35 but got around 42?

99% of the time. Except for the BP in Rome, GA. which uses a black pump for deisel and a green for gas. Ask me how I know :)

I saw one with 150k miles for about 12k. Thats pretty cheap... I’m actively shopping for one. They can be found for that, though I wouldn’t buy it unless I had a lift, an in-house mechanic, and some extra parts laying around ;) Actually, all jokes aside, they run pretty well with proper maintenance. Turbos can gum up…
