Very true. The 550i, recently available with a manual, and the M Sport pack has to be one of the best cars ever made. Not defending them, but they did state in several 2015 Mustang interviews that they focused on the plastics. They tried to keep all the normal touch point nice, but used plastic elsewhere to save money so it could be used elsewhere.

I'm along the same lines as you. Even though I don't love it, I'll be far happier to see this than the endless RX's. Lexus did what we all asked, and went far more bold than we expected.

The Huracan actually has a couple of those design details; the swoop down behind the front wheel arch is particularly striking.
