I understand that most likely no matter what I say you're under the impression that a truck is the best vehicle EVAR in bad weather, but here goes.

I was assuming they took the Firestone and the Generals due to the similar price, and both being well known (the General well known and well reviewed as the Gislaved Nordfrost 3 elsewhere.) Not sure about the other tire.

On comparable tires, or are you being deliberately obtuse?

Can't tell if he is trolling or just that ignorant.

If you want to talk about a Subaru with snow tires (which I have) I recommend considering the type of person who actually puts snow tires on their Subaru. They want a safe car that's good in bad weather, and are willing to go out of their way, and pay significantly more money, to add snow tires to it. To do all of

It is NEVER ok to drive a PT Cruiser. Never.

My wife and I would be first in line to buy one (although she'd rather an auto/dsg)

Really? Maybe because I'm literally 5 miles from a McLaren dealer, but many people in this area just don't care about my Elise, and it's the same Chrome Orange as the one in the video.

True. Sector111 has replacement clams that are intended for racing. Mounting headlights to them wouldn't be easy, but it would be a huge help if nothing else was available.

Yeah, that will be a problem some day. I plan on keeping my Elise for many many years, so I might have to try to find spares some day. Not looking forward to that.

Yeah, finding a nice S1 nowadays is very difficult (assuming you're in the US.) I would love one, but wouldn't every take it as opposed to my S2. They are both epic to drive, so you can't go wrong either way.

That's true. Just be safe and always watch out for bad drivers!

Guess so. My bad. Need to add an /s in there or something lol.

Lol I have an 08 Elise, in that same Chrome Orange color, so I know what you mean.

Where they filmed, I can totally see this being a "rich man's car." However, in nicer areas, only car enthusiasts care about them.

Oh no a random person questions my credibility online?!!!!

Mine was FWD. I didn't see the point in paying more for an AWD system shoehorned into a FWD platform.

I'm going to bring some sense to this discussion. The best car for winter is any car fitted with winter tires. Everyone is arguing over which AWD car or truck is the best, but they are all missing the point.

Is that why I see so many of them in ditches every time it snows?
