And I can't figure out how anyone can look at the C4, C5 or C6 corvette and not find them offensive and awful.

I have a 2000 lb Elise, supercharged to about 290 whp, today. It's uncomfortable and impractical, horrendously loud and rough. And I wouldn't ever consider trading it on for this. I'm glad it's being made, and it's the car Lotus wishes they could build right now, but it's definitely for a different market (those with

Having grown up in Hazleton, PA, I can attest to the awesomeness of Harry's. Almost everything else in the area is miserable, though. Awful place.

Here for all of the wrong answers (all answers other than electric cars.)

NSX is close, but the Lotus Elise is a better pick. Nearly as reliable and much more fun. Plus, the Lotuses are still selling for much cheaper. Which is exactly why I have one.

Agreed. That V12 monster is by far my favorite street car of all time.

To answer your question, a Lotus Elise / Exige is better than a stripped, prepped Miata. I've verified today.

Nothing good about this car beyond it being an Enzo.

Ha ha no one needs a Lotus. You only buy it because you don't need it to be practical. You only buy it because you want it to be that perfect drivers car.

Chrome orange, 2008, all options. Minor mods - stage 2 exhaust, harnesses, etc. Have a Vision Function stage 2 supercharger kit that will be installed next month, though :)

Wingsuiting is ridiculously fun, and I'll continue to do it every opportunity I get, but I cannot bring myself to do what these guys do this. One slight miscalculation and you're dead.

Watching this after bringing my Elise home from winter storage is just wonderful!

Same taillights Lotus uses, I assume. Looks exactly like the ones on my Elise.

Good luck! I highly recommend it only if you understand what you're getting into. If you lust after an STi or Evo, this isn't the car for you. If you lust after a driver's car... this is as good as it gets without going into a much larger price range.

I'm not selling my Elise any time soon... but I do like this car. Instead, I've got boxes full of supercharger kit to take it well over 300 hp. Just have to get it installed >:)

I can attest to #1. People who don't know about it think you're crazy rich driving one. That seems to fade when they see you climb out, sweaty and deaf, though.

My Elise is Chrome Orange, and it's only nice in sunlight. Without direct light it's like a flat, pumpkin color and it isn't all that nice. It is beautiful in light, though. Lambo's color would be fantastic on this!

To tell someone that they just need to save up money is so ignorant. I'm fine with everything else you say, but you assume everyone around the world has access to the same kind of money you do, and you couldn't be any more wrong.

Excellent. Do it right!
