@SLUSHIE: Or they just weren't big pussies like today's generations (I say being born in the mid-80s)

@lilwillie: I'm sick of the bitching here too!

Should have been a Lotus Elise.

Shut up pussy

I sat here watching the whole video with the same look I would have if I was 8. Absolutely incredible!

Ken,

@Ray Wert: That makes a big difference, then.

@X-cchannel-M: Haha, yeah, because Jeremy, Richard and especially James are any better

I'm happy with it. It needs work, but it's already pointed in the right direction.

The second Lotus announced the weight of the new Elise, enthusiasts were out for blood. Everyone will happily attack Lotus, but no one has driven the car. No one has had a chance to say, with any certainty, that the new cars are any better or worse than what's out today.

Blasphemy

@STICH666: Really? Here are all the parts that died within 1k miles of 100,000 miles on the car: Air conditioning compressor, 3 of 4 power window motors, transmission... should I keep going?

@accipiter: What if we take that engine and put it in something much better?

@ZB209: I second this. If you treat it right, the Evora would easily run for decades.

You're right about orange. Maybe I should get that Orange Elise over the Red one.

Yeah, it's good work. But putting a good engine in a horrible car is a huge waste of effort. Just start with something better.

Do want.
