I guarantee you that those WERE songs that got changed to dialogue when they realized Stone and Gosling (OK at singing though they are) couldn't handle any more songs. The arguments are too stilted and unrealistic otherwise.
I think I might like this album overall more than Yeezus, but Yeezus was at least tonally consistent throughout. I feel myself skipping songs on this one rather than pushing play and listening to it all the way through.
