It's real-life Mr. G!
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
I have known many a veggie-loving pup. The ones who don't go for them right away will be into frozen (crunchy? idk why) ones and then be into raw ones. My dog also plays adorably with baby carrots before she eats em up.
You and I are the same, except I have no kids. And while I'm not overly vain usually, I get self conscious in the morning about things like my atrocious morning hair/breath and mostly don't feel sexy enough for sex.
You look like the cool kids from my school, so good work?
I'm am about some morning sex on weekends/when I don't have to be somewhere early necessitating an extreme early wakeup or running late. In general though our schedules are different so between that and the timing differences we end up having less sex than we'd both like. :(
My partner also prefers morning sex. I prefer sleeping as long as I possibly can. It is a source of endless frustration.
You and me both, sister
It just seems like such a good idea though!
I just live with a constant baseline anxiety that comes from knowing that I am perpetually engaged in beauty disasters, because that is less stressful than actively trying to avoid them. Deciding to go this route was a conscious decision at about 25, and it was liberating as hell. I love being a woman (?).
"so they will always look feathered" - killed me dead.
The only thing in this that isn't pervasive throughout the restaurant industry is the video surveillance of the changing area, and I am not even that shocked by that. I have been in the industry and am still very connected to it and it is one of the most abusive industries around.
That's my #1 complaint. The photos aren't technically even good, and the models, while beautiful, are not styled well.
Walgreens has these $6 one-size leggings that are saving my life this winter.
But the kids are the narcissists, riiiight...
I agree inclusivity =/= everyone represented by everything, but if a department or feminist org at a school has a budget and devotes it every year to the same dang play (which a lot of them do for some reason) to the exclusion of plays from other perspectives, it gets problematic.
Am I a bad feminist if one of my dearest hopes is that I am never obligated to sit through that play again? Someone (other than Eve Ensler) please write a new go-to play (that is not based on/inspired by/in the tradition of the V-Mons).
The exact criticism you point out is a large part of why I hate listening to Terry Gross interviews. Why is she so beloved?
I used to be in your camp, but after living through some pretty harrowing work situations I have cried at work and can stand on the other side and tell you that I am no less competent or professional because of it. People have emotions and don't become robots just because they're on a clock.
That hair/makeup made me think she was an Olsen twin.
