I agree- Fantasy Fools certainly isn't downtempo either. I'm probably the biggest fan of The Bleeding Heart Show there is, but there's a lot more to The New Pornographers and AC Newman than that.

This was exactly the game I thought of when I saw this topic. The ending of Bastion demonstrates exactly why the industry's obsession with sequels can really be harmful to the range of stories that are told.
