I feel left out. :(
I feel left out. :(
I actually do this for my work diary and it's amazing. The additional perk is all of the business cards, receipts, hand-outs, etc. that have been saved has helped me create a terrific memory map for my projects.
I think it has more to do with being ill prepared. I'm from Ohio, but have lived in Washington (the mild weathered Seattle to be specific) for a few years. The worst part of dealing with the few weeks of "extreme cold" that we had is that I no longer own a Behemoth and Warm Winter Coat. Scarves are fashionable, not…
Definitely one of the top three reasons that it was one of my greatest decisions to move to Seattle. 40 degrees and a bit of damp! Bring it!
There have been a handful of times in hungry-travel-mode that I've given in and have always immediately regretted. I'm also pretty curious as I've seen the Starbucks "death book" (Calorie, fat, etc. content) and wonder what this woman actually ate.
You know... That's a fair point. Seattle is the home of Starbucks and they have some specialty stores, and sometimes the roll out unique fair here. Not that I think it would be much of an improvement, but she may have had a wider variety of options than you'd immediately think.
For sure and thank you! I'm against the death penalty, but the brutality of this - even if he was a rapist - is horrifying.
Well, moral conundrum for me. ;)
I enjoy the occasional moral conundrum that Jez throws our way.
I always use year end best of lists as a way to catch-up on the pop culture I missed throughout the year. Visit a few favorite sites and quickly find the best tracks, the best books, and the best films that I missed in the past year. But yes, as women, minorities, etc. are seldom equally represented in day to day…
I'm being that person, but: "...that you want to feel richeous over and add..." Do you mean righteous? Because I don't know what the hell is going on.
Check out the letters from Nora to James Joyce sometime. SCANDALOUS!
December 26th here. (The magic of 30!) Get more friends that don't give a shit about Christmas. Adulthood + Christmas Birthday = A Lot of Fun. ;)
I own a Taiwanese street dog (and know quite a few people that also own them), and have friends with a South African and also a Nicaraguan street dog that they rescued on their travels. Street dogs are definitely not your standard Golden Lab, but goodness the rewards of owning one! And the snuggles! The snuggles and…
*hugs* A few years ago I received a phone call at work that my apartment building was on fire, and immediately ran out of the building, and sped home - the entire time terrified for my dog and cat. It's traumatic and horrible. Giant hugs to you and the pets!
Hello Power Hour.
In my many years of sleepovers, there was one time around midnight that I desperately wanted to go home and friend's parent had to calm me down and tuck me in. But really - it's such an awesome way to practice a bit of independence, see what other families customs / culture are, and another step in addressing…
Owner of my first rescue pooch right now and I'm determined that once I get a larger place with a yard that I'll start fostering.
Owner of a Taiwanese Street Dog here and sadly this is all too true for most street dogs worldwide. :( Huge thanks to Salty Dog Rescue for getting our pup. Also, looking forward (in that sad and cynical this is reality kind of way) to the documentary Twelve Nights about shelters in Taiwan: http://blogs.wsj.com/scene/20…
I was a jumpsuit hater until I purchased this Like Mynded amazingness (see below). Surprisingly easy to take on and off, and oh so freakin' comfortable.
