I had a diesel BJ-42 I think for a while. It was a great truck. Slowly rusted out in Canada winter....I left it in Churchill Manitoba and it was taken to a fancy fishing resort in Northern Manitoba for bush car. I still miss it.
Just one parent pre-boards and takes all the carry on gear ...the other stays in seating area waiting with kids making sure they get all the energy out. Then at the last minute before plane leaves parent takes kids on. We used this strategy when we travelled to LA from the Arctic while kids were young. Always worked.
These vans are standard in Northern Ontario for moving summer camp kids on canoe trips and moving tree planters around the far north to tree planting spots. I have driven kids into some pretty rough spots in Algonquin Park for drop offs. Tough vehicles if driven safely and slowly.
