So... a guy who doesn’t even work for Blizzard anymore, goes on a right-wing Discord and post some stuff Kotaku writers don’t agree with. Quick, write a story with the Blizzard logo as the main image.

Agreed. This is a lazy and disingenuous way of getting clicks, especially given that no readers here are likely to be unfamiliar with the concept of 2.5D.

That’s a terrible and click-baity headline. That applies to all 2.5D games. Also what does the author think first person games do? They put the camera where the model would be and sometimes they have arms or legs model. That bullet point related to first person makes no sense being a bullet point.

During that fight against the first boss, the moment where you view things from first-person isn’t technically first-person; rather, the devs at Mercury Steam simply put the camera in front of Samus’ character model, then slapped a heads-up display over the frame.

jfc that’s a clickbaity headline.

BF4 is and was the peak. I’m just amazed, I mean sincerely, what has happened to this game.  I hate to say it but even Hardline was more Battlefield than the last few games.

Don’t forget like half as many gadgets and no sea vehicles whatsoever (as far as I’ve seen; would love to be wrong).

you can’t see the stats of anyone other than the people in your squad. there’s no scoreboard”

Also all the levelution in BF4 compared to... a single twisty boy in every map.

for having 128 players per match, battlefield has never felt more lonely. you can’t see the stats of anyone other than the people in your squad. there’s no scoreboard. there’s no voice chat. spotting is next to useless. oh, and if you don’t like the squad you’re on, too bad, there’s no way to switch to a different one!

Nailed it!! Perfectly said imo.

Bet. The amount of money that attractive people make on OF can be INSANE.

I pretty much agree with you. I mean she is objectively very attractive, not to take anything away from her as I don’t know anything about her outside of articles like this. But hell if she can make millions of dollars just doing whatever she does then more power to her. TBH the “fools” are the ones spending hours

Shit, if I was hot, I’d do something with it I’m sure.

people are just mad and jealous that a pretty girl is smarter than them and gamed a system to her advantage.

I never would’ve known she existed if not for this site and it certainly doesn’t take a genius to figure out that 99% of her appeal is that she’s hot. Plain and simple. Nothing I’ve read in any of these articles about her has made it seem like she has any interesting talent(s) worth spending hours of time watching her

I’m sorry but no. You didn’t discuss gameplay “for paragraphs.” You discussed that the objectives weren’t inspiring, and that the experience was a tad on rails. Sure, we’ll one too every Call of Duty ever. This very site had an article making fun of how the cinematic MW2 came apart at the seam when you ignore NPC

Inglorious Basterds works because it doesn’t pull punches or pretend it’s something it’s not, and it’s extremely self-aware. This game is the polar opposite, without any of the self-awareness. It’s crass and dumb, and it gets a lot wrong, even besides its clumsy handling of racism (and weirdly absent antisemitism).

This article fails to mention one key piece when stating you “shouldn’t play” Vanguard.
