As long as there are three pedals by the drives feet (not counting the e-brake on some vehicles) I’m happy.

I know, but wouldn’t it be fun if we had to rev-match every shift. Maybe it’s just me, but I get supper board driving, anything to make the commute more interesting is appealing. Then again, I’m not scarfing down a fast food breakfast and posting selfies on my instagram on the way to work; if I was enlightened maybe…
Only in the parks labeled “safe space.”
Besides the blatantly backwards sexist attitude, they aren’t doing anything to help solve the perceived problem. Just like back in the day when US auto manufacturers marketed automatic transmission towards women because they are easier. Instead it just gave us something terrible that made life easier for bad driver…
Like cockroaches?
Stupid car for stupid people.
Please, elaborate.
I think that describes most people these days.
People like douches, plain and simple...
Actually, people who by a M3 will buy a M5. I considered an M5 when buying my M3.
I own an M3. My buddy has a M5 with a stick, it’s fantastic, big luxury cars are better in a stick. If I had to move people I’d sell the M3 and get an E39 M5 in a heartbeat.
Me too. I only bought a new car once, it was a manual transmission wagon, turns out it was an “environmental hazard.” So I got rid of it an bough a used M car.
It’s a sad world we live in when something we have to spend hundreds of hours a year doing is soul sucking and mindless... Dear baby boomers, thanks for having all those shitty kids and not teaching them how to drive properly.
“too much power and torque for it to be an enjoyable experience driving one” What world are you from? The throttle isn’t and on-off button...
The problem is that everyone is giving up on making sakes and sparklers....
Thanks for the lesson in the obvious. I’ve been under a rock the last decade and have no idea about how anything works, I sure am glad people like you are here on the internet to explain newfangled things with all caps words. I am curious, could you elaborate on “the needs of the many” who want automatics and better…
I get your point, but buying new is financially irresponsible. So I’m not about to burn tens of thousands of dollars to “do my part.” I considered a M2 for a second earlier this year, but just couldn’t justify it. After driving a F30 M3 I have no faith that BMW can make a car I’d enjoy. Maybe if I can get behind…
Or the majority of the people buying used BMW’s, because they don’t make a new M model that’s any good.
“My e39 540 has one mode - spectacular.” Same with my old M3... I drove the a F30 M3 over the summer and hated it.
No, the F10 is something I would have never purchased. I get what you’re saying, but I just don’t agree. I buy my M cars used because that’s the only way to get what I want and BMW stopped making anything worth owning after the E9X series, IMO. My concern is that halo cars like this set trends for future models, so…
