I never played R1, but after the beat, I'll definitely be gettuing this. A functional medic is a revolution to coop fps, in my mind.

I know this isn't the forum for this, but is there a list anywhere of games where the camera DOES work properly? just wondering what good examples of camera are, since the latest titles all seem to share this flaw.

@AudibleDefect: yeah, I knew when I mentioned do-it-all there would be some resignation... but have you played recent ps3 titles? the one's not on 360 are really getting good, and the others are about the same (nitpicking aside... are, say, GTA4 really that different?)

I'm considering it a win that they mentioned PS3, what with their apparent hate for the system.

@Badben: I think the key was the availability for smaller markets... you're looking at places where people can't afford the PS3, or get access to it, but with the stock built up of it, the PS2 still is a viable platform for them.

Seriously, I think that they released it to try to fend off the competition, but that the PS3 has some stuff about it that is just now starting to gestate. I'm not a 360 hater, but there's just something about that shiny black bohemoth that makes it so much…

@boringjob2: maybe not fans, but I bit on Alpha 1, and I'm sure it will be 6 months until two, then ANOTHER 6 months until 3... so 2 might get some buyers.
