Well, it’s fair to knock 2+ years off that number due to the pandemic, so in a sane era it would only be 3 years since his last theatrical release. But of course in a sane era he might also have not even had a 3-year gap between theatrical releases.

I’ll see if I can get her to issue you a personal apology.
Probably should have said that instead of blaming the material “you were given.”
Probably also because it was directed by Mr. Top Gun himself, Tony Scott. What’s interesting to me is that Top Gun barely evinces Scott’s trademark slick, shiny, bright lights and blue steel style; that really started with BHC2 and went into coked-up overdrive with The Last Boy Scout and True Romance. (Think a cool…
I look forward to watching that one while high even more.
I went back and looked at the AVC review of the movie, plus the Spoiler Space for it. Man, people were mad about that movie. A. A. Dowd gave it a B!
By coincidence, we watched the first one on Friday. We enjoyed it pretty well, because we were high, but even with that it was just a colossally stupid movie. We believe it came into existence when a movie executive got blasted out of his mind on coke, watched The Prestige, fell asleep, and then woke up and thought…
I showed BHC to my kids a couple of years ago, which was also the first time I’d watched it in probably 20 years. It mostly held up, but I was struck by how low-key the movie is. There’s really not a lot of action scenes, and the climax is pretty mild, even by ‘80s standards. I loved it as a kid (we saw it in the…
“That kid” is hilarious; Brando was a whopping six years older than Eastwood.
Just like Tyrone!
Methinks he doth protest in too many identical ways
But, like, the dumb version.
Is he playing Bando Calrissian in this?
Dude, I’m over here!
“a true Donald Glover X Childish Gambino collaboration”
Or The Suicide Squad, heh. Along the lines of Gladiator Part II you could replace the word “Part” with some other section-related word, like “Book” or “Chapter” (shades of John Wick!) or “Round”.

I think I most recently saw Mull on a couple episodes of the (ironically (in multiple ways) also departed) Not Dead Yet. It was always a pleasure to see him show up in anything. We’ve got tickets for the stage production of Clue this summer and I’m sure I’ll be thinking of Mull whenever Col. Mustard is on stage.
I enjoyed it for what it was but I also feel like it would have gone over better (for those who were annoyed by it, anyway) if they’d warned people in advance what 3.01 consists of. Since they released all the episodes at once, it’s not like you have to wait a week to see the next one, and in terms of plot and story,…
I can imagine the aliens getting increasingly frustrated that they keep having to kill the same cat over and over.
