I made a copy of the sheet but nothing was happening (I checked and there weren't any scripts on the sheet). However you can just make a new script in Tools->Script Manager using the source from [ctrlq.org] and manually run OnOpen and then Scanning_Gmail_Inbox.

Do you have a Linux distro of choice, and if so, which one?

The first really good Giz article I've read in a while. Thanks Mat!

Immediately thought of this (for some reason).

Speaking of gaming peripherals, does anybody have any suggestions for good mice? The stock mouse I use is wearing out and since I have a $50 Amazon gift card I figured I should treat myself to a nicer one.

Unless you're on a Mac, in which case you're probably better off sticking with Safaro.

That's actually ridiculously awesome. I have a friend who plays trumpet who would appreciate this.

I live right outside DC and it definitely didn't look that big. Or red. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that it's so close to the horizon.

Pretty much exactly that, yeah. I guess somebody beat me to the idea... darn.

I should put something like that on my bike... or better yet, add some LEDs and have them spell out something as I'm riding. Now that'd be awesome.

If it had a raised board to help keep the pieces in place I would be all over this thing.

OK quick question... can it provide power to external devices?

@IceMetalPunk: I think it has to do with the fact that the dev wanted that full-screen button. As far as I know there's no way to do that with just Javascript and HTML.

Darn. I was hoping it'd hit one of the blades.

Although I didn't know off the top of my head which logo was which, the Ericsson logo looks vaguely like an 'e' and the swirl on the Clearwire logo looks like a 'C' so I was able to guess which one was which.

That "2010: Year in Review" video is a lot better than I was expecting. I'm impressed. Very well done.

This sounds interesting, hopefully Google (or a third party) will develop a Firefox extension as well.

VOTE: vim

@armendni: That sounds like it'd be even worse... more humanoid... ugh.

Now update the Linux one (something they haven't done for a considerable amount of time). Even if the new UI is horrible I'd really like multi-person video chat in Linux.
