I remember that beating the starter with a metal bar was a legitimate way to get it to work again.

The start stop on Tundras shakes the crap out of you. It's actually jarring how bad it is. I hate it. I drove my mom's Hyundai and it was fine. I didn't hate it. It really comes down to how well the manufacturer executes it.
why not CX-789 ???
Clarkson has been a 70 year old man for the last 25 years.
Here’s what their marketing department has to say:
Ferrari F150. It doesn’t have a bed or 4x4.
Love my TDI. Next car will likely be a TourX with a bumper swap and plastic removed
I think most of these get the love (or lack thereof) they deserve. The Jag is a fine car other than the electronics, I personally don’t like the GM mainline models overall feel so the Buick is a no for me. The VW and Audi get plenty of love from enthusiasts but are saddled with terrible reliability. Saabs are too…
I looked hard at the C30 and the thing that killed it for me was the high rear bumper made it hard to get stuff in and out of the trunk.
The V90 is one of the best looking cars launched in the last few years. I don’t understand why anyone would prefer the plastic clad faux off road XC version.
I LOVE the Sportcross, came close to buying one a few times and still regret not picking one up years ago. They are hard to find now though. owners know how rare they are and want a huge premium over the sedans, especially for clean ones.
Only an idiot watches “I Robot” and thinks “Yes, that’s the answer!”
now THIS is the pedantry i come here for
This is one of the dumbest takes I’ve read on Jalopnik all year (and that’s saying a lot). The “extremely lopsided on paper” comment completely OMITS what was admitted in the very first paragraph: the Cybertruck is towing a copy of the car it’s racing!
I tried to special order one, but the boxes for brown, TDI and manual were greyed out
Think about it: Adam Carolla was that guy back then too. It’s what we notice and what we’re willing to tolerate that has changed.
In the NTSB world, an accident from a guy doing lines while watching TV and sending a text all while doing 60 in a 55 means the accident is speed related. Bad data- crap in, crap out.
But will collect any government benefit that they can as well
well, las vegas track looks like spider-pig
If I was butchering a tasty quadruped, I’d grill steaks of the what, barbecue the yee-haw with my special sauce, give disney to my dogs and use NY and LA for stew.
