Cadilliac probably figured usingwagon” would turn off perspective buyers since (covered) wagons were still a thing and saying you bought a new wagon meant you were still poor. Sedan was a big league term.

Nah, you can get any HD truck from the low $30s to basically $100K.

There a probably a few people stuck in the early 2000s at the height of American Chopper’s popularity, when $50k+ custom Harleys were common, and anything other than a Sportster pretty much bottomed out at $15k.

I actually like wood on a motorcycle, but it has to be executed EXCEPTIONALLY well for it to work. Like, try this wooden Vespa instead:

I welcome the return of the Levi Editions

LOL, “now” was very absent in the 1980's!

What do you mean?

I beg to differ, since I drive an aero body F150, the most feminine looking full size truck since the Chevy Cameo. My truck is also two wheel drive with stock suspension and tires because I cared more about price and capacity than looks. That said I am contemptuous of the recent trend of designing trucks to look like

Well, they gave it a non trucklike face and sales are not great and not growing in an otherwise growing segment.

The first gen Ridgeline and the concurrent Pilot both had a great overall look that was sort of rugged without being too over the top.

A low quality car means I’m more likely to buy another car in 5 years, but I’ll be damned if it’s the same brand. ;)

My buddy used to have a Ducati Paso. It was an old, 80's, dated gutless bike. I never understood why he’d bother to ride it when he had a GSXR 750. One day, I finally asked to ride it, so I could see what the deal was for myself. I immediately thought it was a nervous, gutless pig, with wooden brakes, and couldn’t wait

Pffftt... i go to goodwill and buy someone else’s old nice stuff before trips... and donate it back or give it away when I’m done... people donate some nice luggage and you come out cheaper than the tj maxx roller that cant roll straight. Lol

Gonna be fun when all those boomers die and their kids try to sell them and then realize that no one gives two fucks.  If I owned anything domestic that was “rare”, I would be frantically trying to sell it before all the buyers with money shuffle off.

Some of these beasts...

Four SV650s wouldn’t be a bad choice:

Well, you know how these imperial units are. It depends on which king’s ass you were measuring at the time.

Like “autopilot” or “full self driving”, the term “roof” should not be understood by its common meaning.

Once Tesla hears that you didn’t pay for the optional convertible package, you’ll be getting a bill in the mail.
