Sort of like F1 promoting Carbon Neutral 2030. Good luck with that, using jets to crisscross the globe a dozen times a season.

Because the vans are primarily for business use, which will pay the price premium - and can write off the costs. Pisses me off too, cause a compact van would be useful for me.
“having a small bed to move things” Ha Ha, that’s a good one.
The big 3 were blinded by massive profits on full size trucks, that’s for sure. Kind of shows how effective the Chicken Tax is, unfortunately. If the big 3 weren’t hiding behind protectionist trade policies, we would have a wider choice in compact trucks today.
I don’t disagree, but why not show the pickup bed actually containing stuff, like the bikes, or a BBQ, firewood, or other things that that can’t be held in the back of an SUV.
“the mid-sized market is from the international market, Americans didn’t size them this big,”
Angry. Basically matches the general mood of North Americans; on-line at least.
WTF? Why get a pickup truck if you’re going to tow a trailer with everything that should be in the bed of the truck?
F1 could certainly learn a few things from American pre-race hype, and building up the drivers as personalities. That’s exactly what DTS has done for fans. They need to keep that interest building at the track. I liked the orchestral driver intro, but it would get tiresome for series fans after the 3rd race of the…
Somehow every newly reno’d house in my neighborhood sells for almost $2Mill and typically has a pair of new Audi/BMW vehicles in the drive. For the life of me, I can’t believe so many people can carry almost $10,000/month of debt. Unless they’re all doing it through inheritance.

I had an ‘05 Mazda 6 wagon with manual, and a ‘10 CX-9.
“Glad I bought a Scion”
You’re right about the dirtbike carrier.
Funny that the original WCSIBer responded first. This has to be the most boring list of car suggestions from Jalopnik, so its no wonder readers are losing interest.
I think Virginia’s supply of Good Luck for the month was used up in this one incident.
I’m going to Imola this year and hoping for a great experience. A purpose built track in a town rich with racing history has to be good. Any tips for getting to and from the track by car?
Do you ever drive the course? I was there at the end of March for business and did a lap in my rental car. Pretty cool that the grandstands, walls and fences are in place. Sure I was only going 1/10th the speed, but looked and felt neat.
Perhaps active shutters could be incorporated to open and close the wheel arches as required. What’s a few extra motors? ;)
Survey all your relatives on how much they like to parallel park. I’d bet a solid 75% would LOVE this idea, and would pay for it.
