Car makers tried the logical, efficient EV from the beginning, and they failed to generate interest. Tesla went and blew the doors off everyone by going big on performance, and captured the public’s imagination.

The Frontier is OK, and the latest refresh is nice, but a smaller hybrid truck would be welcomed.
Nissan now can focus efforts on the small/mid-size truck market where the Big 3 aren’t as dominant.

Re: 2/15 1973 Canadian Grand Prix - that was at Mosport. Rain there is almost a given ;). It would be neat to see F1 back at that track, but at the speeds the cars go now, the laptime would likely be 45 seconds. Not even considering lack of runoff areas.
Sideshow equivalent of Euro Big Truck racing. Things that really shouldn’t be on a track, but do it anyway, somehow. Fun for a few minutes, but otherwise, meh.
Interesting comparison. But other than being car races, I don’t see much commonality. Indy 500 is like an all-star race in the middle of the season.
