Why choose a VW pickup over the Ford? There would have to be some really compelling differences between the two model ranges to make me go with ze Germans. And I like German cars.

But lots of racing vehicles are set up on the edge of stability if it provides better agility. The driver can weigh the pro/cons. Don’t they already run staggered tire sizes L-R?

Much like in the corporate world when profit is the only measure of success, people don’t matter.

I’m thinking the legacy automakers are just giving up the small car market to imports. The next wave of affordable small cars will come from China and India, and will be sold direct through the web. When a wave of cheapo disposable electric cars hit the market, consumers will vote with their wallets.
