Even so, typical hooligans don’t buy VFR’s. I had an early V-tech one for a few years, but traded it for a KTM950 Adventure. I wasn’t a fan of the way the power changed when Vtech kicked in.

Hey, I’m familiar with old bikes. I’m sure it has some life still. My wife rides a 30 yr old, $10 garage sale 3-speed bike, so she can leave it locked a train station. I ride a 20yr old full suspension Rocky Mountain MTB, because it just keeps going.

So now you’re $200+ into a bike that’s better off retired. Keep it looking ugly so you can use it as a commuter that no one would steal.
