I value the opinion of Leclerc more than any other. He was right there and he is an F1 driver. I have driven on track, but club racing and F1 are apples and planets.  I can’t imagine doing what Max or Lewis did, but I also can’t imagine having millions of people debating something I did over the weekend.  

Those arguing about qualifications or merit are thoroughly missing the point, though I don’t blame them for that.

There are a few limited instances where it makes sense to take a private jet. When I was consulting for Wal-Mart, their EVP’s would typically fly in and out the same day on a private jet. (Wal-Mart owns a fleet of private jets, just for their executives to do same day travel.)

Shooting someone anywhere (except maybe a toe, but good luck with that) is taking a decent chance at killing them, intended or not.
