While I agree the lack of drag racing sucks, SoCal has a lot of road courses. Auto Club, Adams, Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Apple Valley (Grange), Thermal, Chuckwalla. That’s 7 tracks within 3 hours of Los Angeles and a hell of a lot more than most places in the US.

If you’ve never looked into it, there are really only 10 major food brands in the world.

From what I’ve heard they sold out the years allotment (500 I think?) of Spektrum cars in a couple months, and then cancelled the program because it was too much work.

To bad VW killed the Spektrum program after only a few hundred cars.

They’ve used the Nurburgring a couple times for advertising pursposes.

Ahh got it. Unfortunately Schwinn was bought out in 2001 and they haven’t really been the same since.

Once you get any knowledge of bikes and how much better legit components can be, you will never again buy a shitty bike from a big box store.

The only way they could cut it out is to remove comments from articles and get rid of their email entirely. Making fun of it all is the next best option I think.

The 2.3 Lima was in the Ranger up to 97, then it was a 2.5 Lima up to 2001 when they switched to a 2.3 Duratec.

I think the developing world has a bit of a leg up when it comes to emissions though. Europe, North America, and industrialized Asia had to bumble through the 20th century to finally figure out that fossil fuels are bad for the environment. But developing countries are already armed with this knowledge, so they can,

The problem is it isn’t just a gravel surface. It tends to be a mix of snow and gravel in seasons like this. There have been other years the snow was less than normal for Rally Sweden, but there is still enough they have to run snow tires, which have giant studs in them. The studs absolutely tear up the exposed dirt

Unless they have their phone set to “Avoid Freeways” and then I get anxious because I don’t understand why they are weaving through city streets. And then the driver gets all butt hurt and defensive when I ask why he isn’t taking the freeway and almost makes me late for my flight.

True story, at an auto show I was looking at a ND Miata, and a lady opened the trunk and asked,”Where are you supposed to put the groceries?”

Now playing

I want to believe there is another mouse out there driving a car with a 1/4 scale blown V8 engine.

I just wanted to say that I’m digging your Countryman. It looks great with those wheels.

You’re still cherry-picking numbers though. That’s 20 highway miles at 70mph. I never go above 55mph on my commute to and from work, and 75% of it is done below 30mph. So for an urban mobility bike, it’s still just fine.

4-door Wranglers far outsell 2-door versions. Ford would be stupid not to make the 4-door a priority.

You do know there are other options than their most expensive bike right? Their bikes start at $9,000.

I think they were farther north, but you could argue it’s the same region. But they only got to just over 17,000 feet before turning around. These people went another 4,500 feet (approximately the elevation of Salt Lake City).

Don’t forget that Rally Chile had to be cancelled due to civil unrest in the area. So Rally Argentina was moved up in the calendar slightly. Lots of changes going on this season.
