Yeah I don’t agree with that one. The Mercedes shifter is basically like any other column shifter in that drive is down, reverse is up. The only differences is park is the button, not all the way up, and it returns to center. It’s basically just the RND of the normal PRNDL.

It’s probably more than they need, and maybe a little tall for the dog, but why not a TRD Pro 4runner in the awesome blue color?

I didn’t know Hyundai made the FRS.

Good news! Monster Truck fans skew to the left side of moderate.

Even worse, $30 in 1979 would be just over $100 in 2019.

Well trained? You do realize many states don’t require any special kind of license to drive a class A RV as long as it’s less than 26,000 lbs?

You have too much faith in RV structures. I’d rather be in Prius with a properly design safety cell, than a box made of wood and glue with cabinet doors flying towards my head.

Exactly, I just looked it up, and the MPG difference between a 2019 C-class and GLC is 2 MPG. Meaning you spend an extra $150 a year on fuel. I’ve even had a 2015 C-class and currently have a 2019 GLC, and can confirm real world mpg difference is only about 3 for me, yet the GLC has way more passenger and cargo room.

Should’ve bought a Miata.

My bad, I’ve only ever seen top down pictures so I thought it was just a cover behind the seats.

Because you need to disconnect the engine and transmission somehow when you come to a stop to keep it from stalling. When you are shifting while moving the engine isn’t going to stall because the transmission is also moving. The shifts in this kind of a transmission are very harsh and abrupt because racecar. Whereas

Yes that is exactly what he is saying. You can have a 3-pedal sequential transmission with paddles only. There are plenty of race cars setup this way. WRC is currently like this and the image below is a DTM Audi from 2013.

Because this is not a dual clutch transmission like the DSG. It’s a single clutch with dog engagement, no syncros. The two are very, very different transmissions.

Wouldn’t it be less steps since you have no choice of top up or down?

It actually just turned 20 last month! Launched in April 1999 as a 2000 model year.

I browse house listings occasionally and “No HOA” is always touted as a big, positive selling point. I agree, which is why I bought an older house without one.

That’s what I was thinking. It’d be a great day for the side gig people to make some money while the full-timers are striking. Not that I agree with how Uber/Lyft run things, but I, and many other people, could have told them this is what would happen.

At least they showed up. I’m 1 for 3 in actually getting the police to show up when I’ve called them. And the one time they did was the least serious incident out of the three.

Reverse: It’s funny how more than 10 years later I still hear people calling Daimler “Daimler-Chrysler” and how many of them still think the company exists.

It’s a British Sci-fi show about a 1500-earth-year-old (or more), humanoid alien that travels through time and space. I don’t think they are concerned about modern definitions of what a workforce is or isn’t.
