Nope, it’s still a FWD V6 Altima. ST rules are pretty specific on what you can modify. Check out the car rules here: http://competitors.imsa.com/sites/default/files/reults/downlods/2017_st_scr_post_roar_v1.pdf

I thought I remember him saying in one of the /Drive videos on Koenigsegg that they are planning on offering it in their engines in 2020? I think it’s multiple things holding it back. One, I think they had to come up with a new valve design as no one offered anything with the specs they required. And he’s only got…
The Act also applies if you say put on a performance exhaust, but then have a MAF failure or something. Your MAF is still covered under warranty as it should not have been affected by the exhaust change. They can only deny warranty claims on parts directly affected by the aftermarket exhaust.
Here’s a pretty cool video of the same event, but with 3D Audio!
They talked about that a bit on the Maximum Drift-cast podcast, and I think the reason was it’s been getting harder and harder for his team to keep the VK56's running as Nissan wasn’t really helping them anymore. Those engines were designed for off-road racing by Nissan, then the engines became illegal in the series…
Yeah both my GF and I are pretty liberal, and both left Utah because of the political and religious climate, but Huntsman is a pretty reasonable guy. I was pretty sad when he left to be the ambassador. He’s the only recent republican I would seriously be okay with being president. Like you said, he not only believes…
Yeah I agree, we had a bad, very unusual for us snowstorm in my area. Because of all the snow and ice and people using chains, the roads around here are destroyed. So the city has been going around filling the gigantic potholes that formed with asphalt, yet a few weeks later, those pot-holes are starting to reappear…
Umm, there already is a Mk3 MR2.
I came to post dkubus’s SLC too, but you beat me to it.
They technically aren’t buying and selling though, since they aren’t reselling to the public, rather the OEM is buying the cars back. In most states you can personally own as many cars as you want, as long as they are registered to you. So these guys are buying the cars, registering them and paying taxes, then…
oh man that is not a car to put regular in, I wouldn’t be surprised if one day he goes to accelerate on the freeway and has the ubiquitous “Zoom-Zoom-Boom” experience.
Except there are 13 other states who have adopted California emissions standards for new cars. So there is actually 14 states requiring those CARB mandated designs.
There was a guy building a V12 out of two Toyota 2JZ straight 6 engines.
You have to understand, Portland doesn’t get snow like this, so the city has like 2 snow plows and no ability to spread salt. We got about 8-18" across the city on Wednesday last week (when only 2-3" were predicted), and the roads are still a complete mess of packed snow and ice since it hasn’t gone above freezing.
I think in the case of Webber’s crashes, they also forgot to include how bumpy the Mulsanne straight is. I think the bumps helped get more air under the front of the car than they thought, which caused it to lift.
That was the point of The Good Dinosaur. It was an experiment in new production techniques for Pixar. That’s why it came out the same year as Inside Out and wasn’t hyped nearly as much. I agree it was a great movie though and amazingly beautiful.
hmmm, sounds like someone is a Boise High graduate, since that’s the only high school without a parking lot in the area. Timberline graduate here, though it sounds like there was no Timberline when you were in high school. But our school parking lots still sound pretty similar. No Jensen-Healeys in mine but there was…
This is why I always look across the whole country when browsing cars.com. Regularly I find cars in the south, that even after a plane ticket, the gas, hotels, and using some vacation time, would still save me a couple grand versus buying something here in the Northwest.
Sorry buddy, Lynk & Co. kind of beat you to that idea.
Exactly what Dusty said. Group B cars had about twice the horsepower that current WRC cars have, but the cars are faster now than ever. This is because the cars have much much better suspension and drivetrain now, so they can use their power more effectively and have more traction in the corners so they can keep their…
