This article is lazy, lacks any sort of depth, and the author prejudice to the subject. The hyperbole used just oozes a dislike not for the object in hand but the company behind it. The review offers little in detail about the product itself and all the negatives tossed about the Priv come with no evidence to support

Yeah this article is full of lazy and terrible writing, Mario phoned this one in. Sad really, I guess its back to avoiding Giz again like I did years ago when they pulled this same style of prejudice writing on Android.

Security, they are still the king in the phone security market. So much so they won a huge contract with DHS and had the cash to purcase Good (a direct competitor). The only part of Blackberry (they dropped the RIM name) that is struggling is the handset business. Even then they have markets in Asia and the Middle

Not gonna lie....the physical keyboard and the ease of typing on it is the ONE thing I truly miss from my Blackberry days. I could message faster on that then anything I’ve had since. I feel like I have to rewrite or auto correct every single thing I write on a touchscreen.

Any way you spin it, software keyboards just aren’t as good. I haven’t used a phone with a real keyboard in years, but that’s

Pretty much nailed it. I mean, hell, he can’t even get the screen size right. It’s 5.4”, not 5.6”. Not that it’s a big deal but it just goes to show—seems like he is too reminiscent of BlackBerry’s recent falling out than actually getting to use the device and see it for what it truly is... Not to forget the length of

Mario: This aritcle has been written by a three year old. Thanks for turning me off Gizmodo. Jesus, come on!

Subpar review. Mario did not go into depth with how the performance was laggy, nor did he even show any pictures taken with the camera. Instead, he opted for discussing other phones and not even giving the PRIV a chance. I agree with NorthernRoamer, “hatchet job.”
