You may be mortal, but ska will never die! There's a reason why its been through three "waves". I do agree that it can get repetitive to hear horns and monotonous up-stroked guitars. It definitely isn't a genre that allows for a lot of contemplative and introspective lyrical content, but it will put you in a good mood
