They don’t teach that unit like that anymore. They tend to stick to flowers and peas because things got very awkward a shockingly large % of the time. A middle school bio teacher isn’t really prepared to deal with that conversation. Just not their job to break that to you or to triage the fallout.

Oddly enough I’m kind of alright with EVs. Without gears they’re not really autos or manuals. I just don’t want the unpredictability of something that shifts for me. A taser would have stopped the person with the knife and not killed anyone. A taser drops someone. If you arrive at the scene and everyone is within 35 feet (cop taser range) of each other why even draw a gun? If you’re close enough to use non lethal force why even open up the option of lethal?

Am I the only one excited about the chip shortage now? What special parts used in automatic transmissions can we start a shortage in? How about drive by wire steering? Would it be so bad if a shortage caused all cards to be sweet sweet analog deliciousness?
