For me, a lot of the appeal of ENT involved their poor life choices and occasional dives into murderhobo territory. You never know when or how they’re going to fuck up, you just know they will and it’s not going to feel good. It’s like a manual for what not to do in any situation.

Yeah, if they had actually done that, they’d probably be more successful.

The only Far Cry we need:

I guess it’s just one of those mysteries, like why are born or what was really in his heart when he kicked that photographer in the face.

Jeeeeeezus.

As an equal opportunity drinker, that sounds delicious.

Gotta use the Death Generator for extra fidelity.

Anyway abolish the statute of limitations on sexual assault

I mean, my indignation was largely for laughs. It is just food after all. And a veggie burger is absolutely a “burger”! To me, if it’s ground up and formed into a patty, no matter what it is, it’s a burger. A hunk of watermelon doesn’t fit that scenario, so I just don’t think of it that way. Not truly mad about it,

Whatever else the movie did wrong, the idea of ‘TLJ ruining Luke’ from ‘hardcore’ fans is the most hilarious misunderstanding of Star Wars characters, lore and philosophy they could muster.

I get why some people don’t like the idea of Luke considering killing his nephew when he realized he turned to the Dark Side. It’s very shocking revelation. However, it’s important to note that the moment he considered it, he immediately felt shame for what he did. But by then it was too late as Ben had seen him

Small amounts of saliva, swallowed over a long time, is also fatal.

My apologies for being me the same way you want the freedom to be you.”

Can we not pretend there's such a thing as "trickle-down social justice" lol? Even if she wins its not going to help small content creators afford to sue DISNEY.

In her defense, this deal was made before COVID hit.  So, it wasn’t like she intended people to risk getting the disease when it was made.  And, Disney isn’t exactly in the right to use the disease to justify not compensating her the “exclusive theatrical release” they promised her.

That’s sexual assault.

Counterpoint, Ghostbusters fans get wayyyyy too precious about a movie where Dan Aykroyd gets a ghost blowie

Not going to argue 2016 GB here but you do realize that 1984 Ghostbusters was heavily improv right. Pretty much every line Bill Murray says and a good portion of what others do and say. Also it was not dramatic with injections of humor. It was a comedy with injections of horror and action.

I’m going to make a mental note of your request. Chicken rice seems like such a sacred dish to me that I’m afraid I’ll mess it up, so maybe we can find someone to help us with it.

Can you guys do a crash course/recipe piece on chicken rice? Certainly not suggesting I can match Michelin-level cooking but this seems like something cooks can at least attempt/approximate at home.
