Your assumption about how strongly I feel about it is inaccurate, but honestly irrelevant. Your post just presented highest relivent post to reply to the topic at hand. And lately people have been great at standing by informed options, so good on ya.

No. The missile was intentionally fired at a point in the ocean off the east coast of Africa. When the missiles computer dected an anomoly it executed an abort sequence following a preselected flight plan so its self destruct sequence would take place away from everybody. Yes, due to the location of the sub that self

This is really neat, and props to Toyota for doing it. But help me understand the rational behind, “It’s ok for a YARIS to be given more power than a base GT-86, but it is decidedly NOT ok for a GT-86 to be given more power than a base GT-86".

Go with a classic. The Mad Monster Dash series.

Yes! Fear, Fear is the greatest possible deterrent!

We’ll see. You have precident on your side. After killing off a name plate Toyota has never resurrected it. But as a Supra owner myself, I’ve followed all the stories pretty closely. And if they go the distance and resurrect the supra name plate I’d prefer to see it carry a Toyota emblem. Lexus just didn’t have the

Still not to market. Yet. But we’ll see. I’m not convinced that is the Supra Successor. It possibly could be if it has some character. But so far it just seems like another sterilized Lexus F-sport. To most of us Supra fans the Toyota FT 1 Feels more like the Supra successor than anything Lexus has produced.

And it will still make it to market before the next Supra

“Some people just want to watch the world burn...”

It’s simple. “What if the Chevette had been better than the Miata.”

True

You do know that turbos are able to compensate for the lower atmospheric density seen at altitude. Right? Yes, you see a higher turbine/compressor speed. And by operating closer to the edge on its compressor plateau, this means hotter air(less dense). This lower density also means lower intercooler efficiency due to

Uhh....... would somebody like to let Chris know that turbocharged engines don’t loose their power at altitude like an NA engine does? They create their own pressure inside the engine and don’t have to rely on the outside atmosphere to push air into the cylinders. Unless the turbos are far too small for the engine.

I suspect it already has with the F-150 3.5 Ecoboost getting new and updated parts for its power upgrade. The knowledge and understanding that lead to those developments likely came from the Ford GT program.

Octain*

I think a lot of that has to due with the fact that Ford is determined to hit as high a number as they can on regular 87 octain. With a higher octain, they could turn the boost up and advance the timing a little more. But for this motor to compete with the V8 on the sales floor, most truck shoppers don’t want to be

Hurry, hook that man to a generator. This sort of thing could power Las Vegas for decades!

Looking forward to the next series of Survivor, Top Gear edition.

The company is fairly young and has made good progress in that time improving their processes. My uncle just took delivery of his Model S with the updated parts last month. Two weeks ahead of his quoted delivery date and only a week and a half after he ordered it. So props to them for beating that delivery date. I’m

They should try 15K first. That alone would increase the sound by leaps and bound. Currently, they don’t run much past 11K. This is a choice by the engineers to increase the life of the engine since they only get 5 engines for the entire season. When you have a fuel flow limit on how much power the engine makes, you
