People actually pay for pre-inspection? Since 1997 I’ve imported probably 20+ cars from Japan to Africa sight unseen. Only one was marginal.

The Japanese take care of their cars. Almost the entire continent of Africa runs on used Japanese cars. Hardly anyone pre-inspects.
