Nuclear waste is an emission, you just have to keep it locked up and sealed for what amounts to forever (as far as humans are concerned). The earth has been dealing with carbon emissions for it’s entire existence. Not so with nuclear waste. They’re both bad when being produced in the quantities they are now.
