That was my initial reaction, too. I know that 1.4 million very reasonably sounds like a whole lot of money to most folks in most places (me too!), but 1.4 million in LA is not exactly fancy pants house money by a long shot. That’s pretty standard middle class house pricing in LA (which is fucking absurd, to be clear).

I appreciate your attempt at optimistic framing, but Christian is a huge Trump fan and if you look at his Twitter, he has lately been falling all over himself praising DeSantis. He rants about woke agendas ruining the nation unironically. He’s. . . not the old school kind of Republican at all.

Amen to everything you said here. I especially hope she can find a team of medical professionals- physical and mental health doctors-who she can trust genuinely. We all benefit from therapy, what with everything going on in the world. I can’t imagine how she feels after everything she’s been through.
