It is wild to me that you read my two comments here and your takeaway is that I’m championing conservatorships or stripping people with mental health challenges of their rights.

Read for comprehension, Alabama.

It is really strange how folks treat this situation as so black and white, right? Like, I was on board with ‘free Britney’ for the reasons you said, plus it was a pretty extreme example of a conservatorship under CA law (and that alone should warrant a bit more scrutiny).

I listened to the Britney audio last night and it is very compelling because of how reasonable, thoughtful, and candid she was. It also reminds you of how closed off her life is in little ways— like how she doesn’t seem to know it’s a “vial” of blood.

That said, while I think what happened to her is a miscarriage of

So, what. . . happened? Did people just randomly start cyber bullying this kid?

Thank you for this. I was seriously going crosseyed trying to figure out how a freaking orthopedic surgeon, one of the highest paid medical specialties, is trying to woe is me this situation.

Not just a Californian here, but I also live in Kern County. I’ve grown up watching the same farmers with those whiny signs along the 99 and 5 living in mansions and driving luxury cars.

While we all should be doing our part and I am down to call out celebrities, where are these call out articles about the even richer commercial farms wasting far more water? Drive through the central valley of CA sometime and you’ll see mega-farms (owned by billion dollar corporations) doing absurd, wasteful shit like

I know there are strong feelings about the Kardashians and wealthy folks in general on top of that, but this whole situation is horrific.

As a reminder, Kim was wearing a robe when the attack happened (so she had no other clothing on). They duct taped her and manhandled her. She genuinely thought she was going to be

This is such a weird thing to be pedantic about, friend. The shooters at Columbine DID have the exact look the other commenter is describing. Brad didn’t say their son looked like “a school shooter,” he said he looked like “a Columbine kid.” The stereotype that came out of Columbine were sort of rock-adjacent kids who

Thank you so much for that information! It’s always good to hear how different situations can be from the ones being described.

Speaking as a landlord, I do not understand others who are anti-taking those on assistance. It literally makes no sense beyond just being prejudicial trash. You’re telling me my rent payment is pretty much guaranteed? AND there’s an agency I can go to if you start causing problems on the property that will help

If you poured a bunch of beer and a glass of red wine on a private jet seat (and it splashed on the wall), I could see it being destroyed enough to be $25,000 in damage. Private jets aren’t cheap and their parts usually aren’t either.

Or if someone non-greyed stars it. I think folks don’t realize that. Once it is out of the greys because of a star, responding doesn’t do anything extra (though I agree we shouldn’t feed the trolls).

I love all these dumb dumb MRAs in the grays complaining about how SHE clearly abused HIM based on the narrative here.

Y’all, their kids were present. Just doing a quick age Google, if Maddox was 15 then Pax was 12 and Zahara was 11. All three of those kids were old enough, by any metric, to give sworn legal testimony

And don’t forget that 17 year old Lauren was pregnant with his child at the time. And in the bar. Nothing to see here.

The only funny thing in this whole situation was this chyron:

Also, if you Google her name, you can find her very public Tiktok. Where for the last several days, she’s been posting videos of herself to songs about how powerful she is. What a gem.

Whoa, her following Susan for writing this is creepy as fuck. Since we can guess that Summer is reading this: get fucked. May you never know rest and may you never have a moment of peace or joy.

Eat a whole bowl of dicks, Mike.

I am a cupped pepperoni fan, so I tried this the other day. The pizza as actually pretty solid, especially for the price point. My beef though is that it was just a regular pizza-- not the kind with the crispy edge. I suspect that was a local place screw up, since all the photos online have the edge.
