I mean I have no substance problemsthank god and I think that it’s a horrible thing that should never happen to anyone. I have accepted what has happened to me and talking to someone isn’t going to make what she did less horrible I just want to leave it in the past and make sure it never happens to my kid.

Just curious: what arbitrary age IS it appropriate for two people to have sex?

How I know it’s not healthy but I have neither the time money or inclination to go to therapy. I don’t like talking to people i’d rather bury it deep down and not talk about it. I don’t think i’ve ever actually told anyone about what happened outside of just saying it it happened.

I think preventing child sex and teenage pregnancy is a pretty important issue for everyone in our society, actually.

having sex at 13 with other 13 year olds is not age appropriate. kids are too young to understand the consequences of sex at that age. full stop.

Being calm over the suggestion that 13 year olds having sex is normal is not a badge of honor.

I know a guy who lost his virginity at 14 to a 17 year old girl. He was totally fine with it...until he started drinking. Then he seemed not so fine with it.

Now that I’m older, it’s absolutely terrifying, poor girl was abused and no one did anything about it. not her parents, teachers, other adults, hell even me and the other kids in our class.

A) people DO care if 13 year olds have sex with each other because in most people’s view thats WAAAAY too young to have sex and more importantly B) ITS ILLEGAL! 13 year olds don’t have the right to consent to sex even with each other. Of course no jury in the country would prosecute two…

At least I’m reasonable enough to know that it’s not okay for 13 year olds to be having sex. Your statement that “no one cares” about such things really just means that you don’t care about such things. And that makes you a disgusting human being piece of garbage.

Umm, I very much care if two 13 year olds are having sex with each other, and I imagine if you were a parent to a 13 year old, you would too. If 13 is too young to consent with an adult partner, how is it not too young to consult with another child? Another child uneducated on safe sex, pregnancy, sexually transmitted…
