I haven’t said he was traumatized or that he had PTSD. I said it seems likely to me that his father’s statement was an attempt, presumably with advice, to get symptoms of trauma on the table, so that his lawyer could point to these symptoms and make an argument on their basis.

I have said I think his father’s statement was terrible, but that it’s possible someone could be traumatized by the experience of being arrested for a sex crime, tried for that crime, facing the oncoming freight train of a prison sentence and all that might possibly entail, and becoming literally world…

Democrats, Republicans, moderates, and people in all other walks of life commit acts of abuse and make excuses for acts of abuse. It is a society wide problem; not a demographic one.
